It was my pleasure to rise in the Legislature yesterday to share about great work happening in our community, the "Coffee with Seniors" program by Streams Foundation Canada.
I am so grateful to everyone who makes this multicultural & intergenerational social opportunity possible. Huge thanks to all the volunteers, directors, businesses, and organizations!

It's important to give back.
PART 1
Umar talks about the different parts of Streams, helping the elders, taking care of our out door spaces by picking up garbage, etc.. As a long time resident of Chilliwack, this is the place he calls home. Being there, helping, giving is all part of what he does.

Adila Shaukat moved to Canada, a new country, new customs. She found organizations that helped her find her way, and now she gives back. She is a founding member of Streams Foundation Canada in Chilliwack. Streams is hosting a free multicultural dinner on December 18th at the Evergreen hall.
